Also very useful but not available at the moment is the notes on images feature. E.g. I was able to indicate areas of an image with particular lichen structures or species. This was also useful for identification of mountains, geology etc.

Having put considerable work in collections and adding notes to images I'm upset that Flickr doesn't at least leave the option of continuing with these features. see yahoo.uservoice.com/users/54497033-beoirish
