I had from childhood on a fondness for magic, mystery, energy and all things "supernatural".

I simply couldn't be convinced that there was no such thing as other dimensions, energy and thought transfer, other planets and alien races and that we had a far greater potential that remained untapped by most of us.

This led me to exploration of inner space through esoteric teachings, crystal work, meditation, painting and hemisphere music (not necessarily in this order). Result : a holistic and ...errr... humorous view of this side of the galaxy.

In fact I believe that humour is a side-effect of spirituality, as it stimulates the clown chakra.

The artwork you're about to see reflects all that.

If I were to name some influences, the list would be extensive and subject to change, but anyway, here are a few that made a lasting impression:

Gustav Klimt, Moreau, Johfra, Sidney Simes, Michael Kaluta, Sheila Chandra, Al Gromer Khan, Strawinsky, H.R.Giger, Jean Delvaux, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, H.G. Wells, Lewis Carroll, Robert Zelazny, Rodney Matthews, Brian Froud, Jim Henson...

I am intrigued with "translating" high frequency energies and consciousness into a graphic form for others to see. I used to paint and draw in traditional media - acrylics and lightfast inks, and now work fully digitally. I developed a unique technique in traditional painting, and was able to transpose this to the digital domain.

I usually start out from colour or light and shadow, and then proceed into form and line.

These are snapshots from other realms and other-dimensional beings. It is about worlds in progress, not quite crystallized, with many forms coming into existence and fading to other planes. You'll notice different shapes and depths of light and shadow every time you look at them - teaching you more about this particular picture as well as about yourself, as the image resonates with what's within you.
