OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Western Arctic Leadership Program is to provide an affordable, supportive and enriched education to the youth of the Northwest Territories that emphasizes leadership, teamwork and a strong work ethic.

OUR PROGRAM

The Western Arctic Leadership Program provides a great opportunity for the youth of the Northwest Territories to further advance their academics, as well as to learn from life skills that come from living in a multi cultural setting. We also provide students with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of cultural activities, such as our on the land program. The students have attended such activities as the Dream Catchers Aboriginal Youth Conference, the Aboriginal Achievement Awards as well as to participate in a wide variety of workshops. The experience and memories that students take from this program will impact them for many years to come. This opportunity will provide them with the tools needed to become the leaders of tomorrow.
