A little background...

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. When my first Crayola crayon hit the paper I was hooked. Since those first colorful scribbles, I've been very fortunate to turn my passion for art into a life long career. During my 50 years in advertising I have worked as a fashion illustrator, graphic designer and art director in Boston, New York and my last career stop Los Angeles, CA in 1990. That year I founded In-Between Sportswear, a tennis apparel company. After 30 years as president and designer I retired, spending a few years in beautiful Colorado then recently moving back to my native Massachusetts.

I consider myself relatively new to digital photography constantly striving to be more technically proficient. However my style is not pixelated perfection my preference is a more pictorial approach, creating a feeling or impression of a moment in time.

My photography is a process of discovery and celebration of those natural wonders around us no matter how mundane. It's about capturing the soul of an image, whether it be a brilliant sunset or a drop of rain on a fallen leaf.
