So I've just returned from a long Flickr hiatus. Never stopped shooting during the time, but I didn't participate much at all in Flickr.

I was good to take a break though. I learned so much from Flickr, beginning as a relatively clueless amateur, then maturing a great deal. I did some stock photography for a while, but became relatively burned out, and gave up on shooting for both stock and Flickr. Though I never lost the love for photography.

Photography is and will always be a hobby for me, and both Flickr and stock shooting was more like work than fun. To me there is a huge difference between a photo that sells well, a photo that gets lots of faves and comments, and a photo that I love in my personal album. My personal album has become my concentration with photography once again, and most likely it is going to stay that way, as I enjoys shooting now as much as ever before. But I can share.

If you have any questions about how I did anything or how I shoot, just ask. Asking the questions of people whose work I admired I how I learned myself.
