Who knows what might happen if we wag school?

We're not where we're supposed to be. Time becomes our own.

On my photography path, I'm enjoying exploring a bit, seeing what happens, and exploring some more ...

I feel like I'm just starting to gain some appreciation of photographic processes and since June 2024 I have begun to aim to maintain more authenticity in my photos. Minimising (and noting) post-processing edits and abstaining from edits that are targeted at altering the physical integrity of the subject or scene. Historically, analogue photos usually presented an accurate record of events. They could often be relied upon as a representation of the truth. Maybe that's one of the reasons that I'm attracted to the gravitas of black and white photographs. In any case, today I prefer photographs to represent a snapshot/representation of reality. All power to those imaginative souls who utilise photography as part of their process to create new and extraordinary visions but that's not my path.

Thanks for spending this moment to check out some of my images. I appreciate you taking the time. Comments, suggestions and favs welcome. Sometimes, when an image freezes a moment, it gives us the opportunity to perceive a depth to things in a way we often miss in the normal pace of life (when we're focused on getting from Point A to Point B - or always reporting to 'school' on time).
