About The Photographer-

Wade Hooper's initial interest in photography began with astrophotography in the early 1980's. In March of 1997 he captured the Hale-Bopp Comet on film and was featured in an article in the Nashville Tennessean.

His focus was redirected to nature photography when he began working at Bowie Nature Park in Fairview, TN in 1997. The many ecosystems represented in the park, together with the backdrop of Middle Tennessee's four distinct seasons, made for a compelling and beautiful area in which to learn landscape photography. Wade has continued to photograph the park and has more recently begun to expand his portfolio to other areas of Tennessee. His photos have been featured in numerous publications, including The Tennessee Conservationist and Bowieland, by Eileen Brogan. Thank you for your interest in Wade Hooper Photography!
