Established in 2010, the World Affairs Council of Atlanta is a non-partisan, non-profit civic organization dedicated to amplifying informed thought leadership that prompts new thinking on critical global issues. We achieve this by curating both in-person and online opportunities for individuals to explore and discuss global affairs. Throughout the year, we convene diplomats, dignitaries, executives, and subject matter experts to provide world-class analysis on geopolitics, foreign policy, trade and the economy, emerging technologies, armed conflict, climate change, health, and humanitarian issues, and more. Our forums, symposia, virtual dialogues, and educational travel connect a community of curious individuals exchanging ideas on global challenges, opportunities, and solutions. Additionally, our Young Leaders and Global Leadership Fellows programs cultivate Atlanta’s next generation of civic, government, and private sector leaders. We provide independent, nonpartisan, continuing education and networking for executives and employees, young professionals, elected officials, the consular corps, academics, university students, and the public.
