Ich fotografiere schon seit Jahrzehnten. Mal mehr, mal weniger. Seit 2008 können Sie meine Bilder bei Flickr betrachten. Gerne dürfen Sie einen Kommentar darunter schreiben.

Was ich aber nicht machen möchte, sind Gefälligkeitsbewertungen, so nach dem Motto "wie du mir, so ich dir". Wenn ich ein Bild positiv bewerte, kann der Fotograf sicher sein, dass es mir wirklich gefällt und dass es in meinen Augen gelungen ist. Dabei bin ich durchaus in der Lage zu differenzieren: Es ist natürlich einfacher, mit einer Hochleistungskamera perfekte Bilder zu machen. Eine kleine Pixelkamera hat ihre Grenzen und man muss etwas toleranter sein und weniger kritisch.

Erfahrungsgemäß haben einige Leute Probleme mit meiner Art von Humor, der etwas satirisch und wortspielerisch, manchmal auch hintergründig ist. Nehmen Sie also nicht alles wörtlich.

Many years ago I have been started to take photos of different things. Sometimes more – sometimes less. Since a fairly long time you may have a look at my pictures at Flickr. You are allowed to write a comment under it.

What I would not like to do is to accept and reciprocate a favour like the device: a Roland for an Oliver! If I assess a picture as positive, I really mean it and you can believe that it suits to me and that it’s successful in my eyes. In doing so I am also able to make differences: It’s of course easier to make perfect pictures with a high-capacity camera. A small pixel camera has limited applications so that you have to be a little more tolerant and less critical.

According to experience some people have problems with my kind of humor that is sometimes satirically and plays on words; sometimes it’s cryptically. So you should not take me up on that.
