My name is Adam Daley. By day I'm a Security Systems Engineer but by night I'm a photographer in search of that next great location. I began my love of photography at a young age. I can recall seeing photos of me as a young child with a camera around my neck. Granted back then my photos were not exactly masterpieces, it allowed me to experiment with photography and learn as much as I could. Although it was not until my first real job as a web developer/network administrator that my photography talent started to emerge.

I was part of a marketing group for a manufacturing company and one of our jobs was to photography the various products we made as well as trade shows. It is here that I learned how light affected photos drastically. From the studio to a city skyline at night I had to learn to adjust my camera settings to my location. I began heading to Hoboken, NJ at night to take photos of the city skyline and dry different techniques.

Eventually I moved back to Long Island where a friend of mine taught me about HDR. I immediately fell in love with this and today it is my favorite technique to apply to my photos. My favorite subjects today are actually bridges. I have only photographed a few but they are great because they don't move, are always in the same place and based on the time of day/weather/season they look different and it allows me to always capture something new (although the subject is the same). I'm also fond of candid photography. I find taking photos of people who are not posing make the best photos.
