The truth is that I have been very lucky to have met [not face to face but through emails and Flickr] Donny in the last couple of years or so because through his photography I can see what I have to do and where I must challenge myself to get better shots at every outing. Donny has the love for being creative and holding the camera while looking for that special shot and then sharing it with others. His work is truly wonderful and he makes everyone want to do better. I also must say that Donny has helped me recently with a problem that I had with one of my cameras and he even knew more about the possible problem than what I could find out from my local camera store. His advice was taken and I am happy to say that the camera now works and is back on line. So, here is to Donny and a big thank you and a hope that we will get together soon for the excursion that we have discussed. All the best. Mike/Canada

There is a handful of very special people who have been a powerful influence to me since starting this photography adventure, and one of those people is Donny Campbell. I first met Donny on Digital Photographer UK website and was blown away with his work, the tones, colours, lighting, and compositions were breath taking! Donny has been much more than a photography inspiration though, his modesty and overall support he has shown me through this adventure has been more powerful then he knows helping my self confidence in the path I have chosen with my work. I am not sure how things would of turned out honestly if not for knowing Donny and his support through crucial times of self doubt with my own work and path, I can't thank you enough for that Donny and will always remember you for this.
