The artistic proposal of « Vu en ville » aims to question ordinary urban spaces, in order to turn visible what is diluted in the everyday life exposure.

These ordinary spaces appear without any appeal or amenities, they are seen too ordinary to arouse curiosity or justify anyone to stay. Such commonplaces lie in parisian streets, interstices between inner cities and suburbs, business park, in between spaces only traveled by, disaffected leisure areas, any spaces deserted by the urban thinking.

The approach shares similarities with what Alain Blois calls « the already made ». The purpose is to unearth the elements in the mundane spaces, which came as found art, also with reference to abstract paintings. The shooting protocol favours frontal composition, plays with surfaces, lines, flattened plans.
