Post-Graduate in Botany with Doctorate Degree in Forestry.

 

Researcher by profession, studying forests of the Western Ghats (Chain of Hills seen along the western coast of India).

 

Currently working in the Centre for Environmental Studies, Amrita University, Ettimadai, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

 

My research interest include Disturbance Ecology, Population dynamics of tropical trees, Eco-Physiology of tropical trees, Forest Floristic dynamics, Conservation Biology, Liana Ecology, Eco-restoration of degraded landscapes, Ethnonbotany, Traditional Knowledge.

 

I love traveling, visiting temples, photography, gardening....listen to South Indian Bhajan, Carnatic music.....

 

read materials on science, technology, environment, ecology, spiritual and cultural topics, like to do housekeeping jobs.
