Drag to set position!
I was raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and have a passion for weather. After jobs in meteorology with the Air Force (Hill Air Force Base, Layton, UT)and the National Weather Service (Toledo, OH) I returned to my roots and took up a job performing Configuration Management with the Boeing Company working on the International Space Station. Residing in Cape Canaveral, Florida, my passion for weather remains active. Spring time is the time to be in Tornado Alley and summers are spent near home photographing and filming storms and nature.
EXTENDED: I worked with the Boeing Company for 15 years as an Analyst in the Payloads Configuration Management Department. While working with Boieng I provided special weather safety presentations to managment and the general public on Super Safety Day during the Space Centers Safety Day activities. While in the Air force I was the Wing Weather Officer for the largest F-16 Tactical Fighter Squadron in the the world (the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing) as well as two other fighter wings- one SAC squaddron and thwo MAC squadrons. I made daily forecasts, formulated and issued weather watches and warnings, and briefed the base commander and squadron commanders on a daily basis.
While in the Air Force I wote and had published a study on severe canyon winds at Hill Air Force Base and on another "selfly named" event, Collapsing Castellanous Downbust in Mountainous Regimes
