I saw many videos on how to write an amazing artist's statement....I also started...then I decided on a different way. These are the words from somewhere deep inside. A few years ago I had huge goals....one of the craziest was to have my photo next to Mona Lisa. Louvre, Louvre, Louvre....the power of visualization Why? Because it would mean that I am somebody...sorry SOMEBODY. Clear ego. What changed? Nothing ...and everything. My goals are still huge...the motivation is not the same. I want to inspire, to give, to cause a smile.... to take you - the viewer on an adventure.... maybe "force" you to stop thinking and just enjoy what you see...read/hear... I love to connect my photos with lyrics, music. I want to win....to win with this, what you see on this page. It took me many years till I was able to formulate in myself....the sunrises, the dreams - dreamy photos, ICM are the themes that make me happy. Why so long? Once I read an article about cliche in photography....do not remember exactly the title. You can not win with sunny, dreamy photos...after this sentence...all the fears appeared in my mind. Fortunately, the truth was not out there, but inside me :P (if you know what I mean). Yes, I tried also "more serious" themes or rather some conceptual things...then I realised....and just don't be Michal? (The fight within me)...No. This is not who I am....I am the person who woke up early every morning...to take photos of sunrises. Why? This is the purpose why I am on this world and this is what I can offer to the world, to my followers and also to my own soul. Photography doesn't just complete me as a person, but thanks to it I found also that missing inner point. It taught me to communicate with the external world through pictures, feelings, imagination…with other words this was/is the key to open the locked doors inside me.
