I posess equally compusive loves for music and utilising unnecessarily large words, neither of which are sufficiently satisfied by my forays in to Archaeology or current slog though an Engineering Geology MSc. Most of my favourite bands fall in to the category of 'acquired taste'. Favourite excuses for 'taking a break' from the dissertation include contemporary dance, sketching, singing, being disappointed by the state of the modern novel, acquring instruments which I cannot play to any passable level and avoiding organised sport at any cost.
