update february 2009: after a longer period of time without feeling the need to take my little digi with me ( not to speak about my ol´ analog SLR ) I just recently and quite spontaneously purchased a Canon EOS 1000 D, not a big professional one, but sufficiently enough to play around in my little sparetime... so I am quite eager to start shooting with that little toy..

since I´ve been asked to do some "social-photography" I thought it over, and decided rather to post some photos that were not made by me, but are showing poeple in despair. If you cannot stand it, just skip the first page, otherwise confront yourself with the truth. even if it is not pleasant.

surfing the net is fun, a lot of eye-candy, nice images and so on. but, imagine you could do something in real life to help others, be it the homeless, or children without parents or just someone who is in need. wouldn´t that be great?

everyone can help, even if it´s only a tiny little bit. it is always worth it.

I am interested in photography, especially in portraits and poeple ...and would like to share my interest with poeple all over the world...

I like going to the movies, theater and cabaret but also just having some good times with friends in a bar or café.

ahh..since I only use a free-account I am up-loading only once a month...I am thinking of a pro-account, but at the same time fearing that I might load up things, that shouldn´t be posted due to their lack of quality, so...it´s better this way in order to sort out the poor stuff and concentrate on those pics worth to be shown, humm.. yeah, just come back from time to time, it´s worth it! ;
