For most of my life, I was never was a huge camera buff, aside from simple point & shoot models. But, I bought myself a DSLR for Christmas 2007 and haven't regretted it once. Love learning about all the things that go into making a compelling image ... both pre and post-production. Composition, lighting, shutter speeds, aperture settings, long exposure, HDR, light painting, texturing ... so much to see and do. Haven't really dabbled much in lighting yet, but hope to keep increasing my gear little by little as time goes by.

Personal interests run the gamut ... music, photography (of course), astronomy, computers, B-grade horror movies, comedy, sci-fi. There's not much I don't like or won't try (at least once).
