Initially, I developed this site as a companion to a webpage on the Birds of Rockbridge, Co. Virginia. The webpage on Birds of Rockbridge Co, is set up as a book with chapters. The chapters are in taxonomic order and provide specific details about bird sightings and presence in the area. The Flickr site contains photos of birds seen in the county and serves as documentation of these birds. The site has grown to include photographs of species I've seen on various birding trips.
