Currently living in Birmingham (more specifically Black Country (named after its industrial/coal mining heritage, for those wondering)) in Britain. But from a dairy farm in the middle of nowhere in Devon originally and still consider that a kind of spiritual (as well as familial) home.

I teach music technology for a living so not at all a photographer. I use Flickr as a photo blog, hence the rather crappy photos I've posted (the exception being those taken by my father (always acknowledged), who has a better camera and more time than I have).

I'm also using flickr to meet people (and I've met some _really_ great people). So while I'm seriously flattered if anyone takes the time to look through my stream, if you 'contact' me and your own stream consists of nothing but others' photos, or porn, I probably won't reciprocate. Nothing personal. I'm just not that interested.
