It is rare in today's world to find an artist who embraces the political in his art, and even harder to find a political artist who is truly talented. Vladimir V U Lenin is one of this rare group. His work is inspiring. Whether it is a simple shot of a factory, or a richly subtexted reworking of numerous shots, Lenin's work is always a consideration of the world around him. And more than any other photographer on flickr, I consistently wish that his work was my own.
