An images enthusiast, including stills and videography, I have been trying different approaches and subjects with a common thread ever since I started shooting images: Sharpness and technical quality. In other words, I believe that to more clearly convey any form of message and/or emotion in an image, or sequence of images in video, the shots and footage need to be at the right technical level. Not everybody would agree with that, but this is the direction I decided to take, myself. I don't quite like HDR and typically avoid over-photoshoped images especially those distorting reality far too obviously. I mainly try to post process everything in LR CC with occasional roundtripping to Photoshop for healing and perspective corrections that LR can't adequately handle. I believe still photographs as well as motion pictures (as in video images) should be conveying some sort of emotion to the viewer, not always telling a story. If there's a story, it's OK; that's an additional bonus.
I post all of my 'descent' digital shots on Flickr from the beginning of its time almost (2005) having reached more than 35 thousand posted to-date (public and private), by Feb 2019. Recently I have been spending a lot of time in liquid art photography (December 2018+) that has been love at first sight, indeed.
