I'm middle aged and still can't quite get used to it. I keep thinking the 80's can't be that long ago. I've been married for over 30 years. We own an exuberant dog called Cindy and a cat called Jake.

I collect dolls, mostly Barbie but I have a collection of 1960s Sindy's that I can't part with. I like dolls from the 60s, and have a lot of other dolls from that era. Would love to own a Pedigree Walker one day when I can afford it. I also love the beautiful dolls made by Metti & now by Netta Australia.

I'm not a big sports fan but enjoy watching cricket and have spent many afternoons at Bellerive Oval photographing matches. I also enjoy watching motorsport though I don't seem to do it much these days. I used to love going to the F1 GP when it was held in Adelaide. I have loads of old photos of those years that I must scan one day.

I love to travel but can't afford to go far these days. Luckily I live in beautiful Tasmania so I don't often feel that I want to leave. My biggest travel adventure was in 1990 when we went to the UK via China and Russia travelling on the Trans Mongolian and Trans Siberian Express. If I could visit any overseas country that I hadn't been to yet I would probably pick New Zealand but I'd like to visit Canada and Pacific Norhwest USA, and Scandinavia and Ireland and..... but a week to myself and a bus pass for all Tasmania would make me pretty happy too!

I like to photograph interesting old buildings, especially those I feel are in danger of being lost.

My pictures reflect my interests. I guess I'm more a recorder of life than an artist.
