I've know Brent most of my life and his quiet sense of creativity always inspires me. Flickr is littered photographic cobblers, but Brent is the real deal. He was shooting analogue before most Flickrites could spell the word 'camera', so much so, he inspired me to have a bash at photography. While I'm a member of the digeratti, Brent's images don't require the bells and whistles of digital post-production. His images are powerful, in meaning and composition. He should be doing this fulltime!

I know I should premeditate on what I'll say...because to describe a person and his work like this man and his work, one needs to say exactly the right thing. To express the feeling that he evokes with his work and to compliment the real feeling and love that he puts into each piece...well perhaps there are just no words :) Perhaps one can only know by experiencing it for themself. This gentleman will never be at a loss for talent nor kindness. You'll never come across someone quite like him, or a photostream quite like this. It's hard to debate whether it's the captions or the photos that really catch you by the throat, perhaps the combination of the two does the trick. Whatever it may be...to view this photostream is to look upon the mind and heart of a true artist.
