One of the earliest recollections of my childhood is of my father taking photos of me and my brother with his film camera Canon AE-1. Trusty old bit of kit. Naturally, this early exposure (no pun intended) made me curious about cameras and photography. Later, this curiosity turned into a deep interest. Ironically, I didn't buy a camera for myself till my mid-twenties. I wanted to buy a "proper" (read SLR) camera when I can afford it. The thought of carrying around a 'point and shoot' or 'point-and-hope' as some say, never appealed to my somewhat naive conceptions of what it takes to take a "good" photograph. It was all or nothing. So I bought my first (D)SLR around about 15 years ago (Olympus E-500) and I absolutely loved it. Next, it was the bigger cousin of E-500, the Olympus E-3, which unfortunately got stolen and then I moved to Canon 5D Mark II. Anyway, enough rambling. Drop a comment or thumbs up if you like any of the photos. It's a way for me to know that I got something right.

Cheers!
