I am a brand and marketing professional with an extensive background in business development. Securing a graphic design degree in 1996, I targeted creative firms for employment and secured a position as an account coordinator for a industry leading brand identity firm. This gave me the opportunity to expand my core knowledge of brand development. Baptism by fire was the company’s philosophy. My coordination efforts provided the opportunity to experience every touch point in consumer package goods product development. These experiences allowed me to quickly increase skill sets and seek out additional areas of interest.
Branding experience fueled a growing focus on business interests. I branched off and spent several years in the Real Estate industry growing an extensive network of commercial and residential clients. Officially working as an independent contractor, I continued to build upon my background and launched my personal Real Estate website. I was the first in my company to create, design and manage a personal site.
I am an entrepreneur. Growing businesses is what drives me. Determination to continually advance my professional career, I sold my share of a retail business in 2008 and entered a graduate degree program. I successfully completed a Masters in Business Administration in 2009. Shortly after completing the program I was hired on by a multinational label printing company as the Sales and Marketing Operations Manager for U.S operations. Fortunately, my branding and marketing expertise drove the company to do a complete redesign of their corporate identity system. I managed and directed the brand evolution and execution. The initiative included a complete redesign of the identity, print collateral, website and environmental graphic systems. All elements of this initiative were successfully implemented. My contributions can be seen the second you view the website or enter the lobby of any one of their 6 locations across the U.S, Europe and South Africa.
Today I am actively engaged with several companies developing their online presence and branding systems. Some are new offerings and others need to evolve current communication mechanisms to meet 2011 opportunities. Clients trust the direction I provide because it always translates to more sales, stronger PR, and new profit centers.
