I took up photography to help relieve the stress of having a multi-disabled child. I discovered herein a way to completely lose myself behind the viewfinder of my SLR. I am instinctively an artistic person and this satisfies as a wonderfully fulfilling outlet. I have sold some of my work, as well as portrait packages. I hope that trend will continue. While I am still learning much about lighting,etc. I am endevering to capture the souls of people in my portraits, and the experience of a place, instead of just the place. I own a Nikon D200 with all the bells and whistles, and quite a bit ( can there be too much?) of nice studio equipment . I'm lovin' every moment. I have always attempted to see the unique beauty and sometimes the suffering in life which is all around us. Photography allows me to freeze those images and remember them crisply.
