Up-dated 11/15.15 - well both my Golden's have passed on over the Rainbow bridge. so very sad. life goes on though, they still walk with me! :)

The cameras that I use are these:

OLYMPUS - point and shoot FE-210 (great little camera, a lot of the pictures you see are probably from this. unfortunately the camera's auto focus doesn't work anymore)

OLYMPUS - point and shoot FE-47 (nice little camera, using it more now

OLYMPUS - E-500 SLR - My first high End Digital Camera. have multiple lenses. I love the camera. it's great! it has only 8 megapixels (was a lot back then) would love to get a new high end camera, I don't think will happen for awhile though. not even sure which one I would get! (sort of)

WINDOWS PHONE NOKIA LUMINA 635 - a cheap $39.00 phone, which actually takes okay pictures. great when I don't have any cameras on me.

FILM CAMERAS:

SAMSUNG - AF-SLIM - point and shoot. I bought this camera before Samsung was a well know co. this camera has proven it self over and over again! I was VERY surprised at the quality and durability of this camera. a great little camera!

NIKON - N50 - Bought this camera used. Really love it. you cannot beat the Nikons! my next camera will either be a Nikon, or I have been hearing great things about Sony.

I Bought a Nikon D5500 about 2 years ago. (so 2016) just starting to fool around with it. learn the camera etc. (2018) I really wanted a Nikon D750. couldn't afford it. the 55 is a nice camera. I wish I held out and bought the 750. nothing like Full frame and the debt of view!. we'll see. maybe in the future:)

BTW: I still have two cats. there not dogs, just cats. but there neat.

One more thing. I have hundreds and hundreds of paper photos. which I take a digital shot of them and load them up here. the loss of quality in doing that way is negligible! I mean it's there, but most wont notice.

I also have to up-date my icon picture. that is like from 2009! boy how time flies! (updated 2016 )

P.S. I would love to follow everybody! I appreciate those that follow me. I just don't know how to manage following, as some people do 500 to a thousand people! how could I possibly respond to all their pictures. one thing I do is bookmark them. so I can always check out their photos later:)

BTW - I do not photo shop my photo's. one reason. well, I don't own photo shop:) I would like to have it. maybe at some point I will. that or Corel photo paint 2018. problem is. would probably take me six months to figure out! or more. who knows. my philosophy is...spend more time taking more Photos....less time processing them. in fact. I wish Flickr had a site just for unprocessed photos. sometimes the photographer is lost in translation. it's still about the camera and the person behind it! UP-DATE - 2025 (Yes, I do know some processing. technilogy has Changed sp much. now we have AI. so yes, I do some Processing.

UPDATE 3/10/20 - I have not been up loading may photos. the reason being I need cataract surgery (asap) hard to view on the PC. that will be happening this year. then I'll be back in the game!

UPDATE - 8/24/20 - well I had Cataract surgery on the right eye. been putting it off for years now. I went with the PANOPTIC lenses. only been four days. it seems like a very wise choice! cost me 3K just for this eye. so it better be good:)

Okay, now September 2020. had cataract surgery on the left eye. same thing. PANOPTIC lenses. it's now November 2020. what a difference. it's like I see in 4K now. why did I wait so long!!!

UP-DATE -5/01/2025 - (it's actually 4/25/25. i like to keep things nice and Tidy so starting at the beginning of May. So, what is The up-Date. not Much really. Almost Five Years Older Now. That Sucks!!! Also seems I can't Catch a Break. I had Posterior capsulotomy (or YAG laser capsulotomy) on my left eye. Eye doc said it will sharpen your vision. sometimes after Cataract surgery, particles clump together and can make the eyes less sharp. so, I did it. DON'T DO IT!!! It made my eye Worse!! now I get floaters. Vision is not as Sharp. I never should have had it done. Eyes are still good. No need for Glasses, so thats good. Now dental. Whew!! what a Nightmare. I won't Bore you, But I was getting Ready to look into some Plastic Surgery. Next day I had a dental appointment. That's when I got the Bad news. one of the caps is (the tooth under the Cap) is probably rotted and has to come out. My guy wants like $5K to do it. I shop around. one wanted $8K to do all four teeth (she was a very good Dentist) in Hindsight I probably should have went with her. found another guy who said he can do it for like $2500. I thought Yea! what a bargain. (Mind you all of these are "Sedation Dentist" I have to be IV Sedated or "it ain't Happening baby" :) well long story short. that didn't work out. lost the tooth, finally had an implant done. still don't have the crown though it's Ready to go in. Mind you. I have no dental insurance, so I have to Pay big $$$. Sucks!! I have New Neighbors Upstairs. They have a Little Dog that has to have one the AWARD for The Most Annoying Yapping dog in The World!! I can't go out of the House, in the House, open the door, pull into the lot. anything without this dog going nuts!! Plus he has the most Irritating Bark. Really, he could be a secret weapon for Interrogating terrorist!! They'd Give up in a minute!! I still have no dog, though I'm walking everybody else dogs. would love to have another dog. one needs a Back yard though. especially at my age. just incase something should happen. Dog needs to do his Business:)

Next Step in My Life is to get a Face Lift. it's That time. I've been thinking about it, thinking about it. Well, I'm just Gonna do it!! Well, thats the Plan anyway.

Also, I need to Spend more Time here On Flickr. It's Just Time-Consuming posting Pics. I like to have them just right. I have a lot to post. Just no Time. This AI stuff is Getting Crazy. I Love it. Flickr should though make some rules. if the Photo your Posting was all generated by AI, it should be Dully Noted as Such. oh Well thats it for Now. if I think of anything Else or something New Happens I'll up-date.
