I'm on Flickr thanks to a happy accident: I had forgotten my old compact camera when packing for a vacation.

I bought a Canon bridge camera, which reminded me how much I used to love photography during my childhood. I rediscovered the passion of creating images, and soon enough I upgraded to my Nikon D90. Technically speaking, I'm still a beginner, but the reflex capabilities offer me a better way to capture and shape the world I see.

I love photography because I really love the world and the people that surround us. A picture allows us to freeze a fleeting moment that we may have missed, or a memorable one we'll want to remember. It becomes an expression of our curiosity and our desire. It may not be perfect, but so is life, and it deserves to be told.

I don't really have any preferred themes. I'm attracted by human nature and the contrasts in our daily lives. I'll admit though that I have a preference for tele lenses and that I like cinematic shots.

- Nikkor AF-S VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G IF-ED

- Sigma 17-70mm F/2.8-4.5 DC (the one I like less)

- Aperture 3.X for post-processing
