I didn't set out to be a photographer...

It just kind of happened... or happening! I suppose it's possible that it's what I do is because my dad got a camera when I was really young. I shot on film cameras most of my time until around a decade ago i actually got my hands on a DSLR... What I can tell you is that I really love what I do and I spend a lot of time refining, perfecting and even obsessing over my work... It is a passion.

I have spent a lot of time reflecting on things such as what is my "style" of photography. Style comes with time and is a difficult thing to force. I think more important than style is being aware of the literal nature of the image I see and striving to go beyond that in an aesthetic sense to create a captivating image.

I am based in Mumbai, India but I travel wherever my photography takes me.

I'm not afraid of large family groups, or families with a million little kids. I love a challenge, and I love family photography! I understand the frantic getting ready for pictures, and the kids who decide at the last second that they will NOT smile, even though you've been practicing it for days:) and the spilling of who knows what on their new clothes. Not to worry...I'm a great digital clothes cleaner.
