Located in Hohenfels, Germany and headquartered at the 7th Army Training Command’s Joint Multinational Readiness Center, (JMRC) the VIPER Combat Camera Team functions as the eyes and ears of this historic training center. Comprised of a multifaceted group of Photographers, Videographers, and Graphics personnel, the Soldiers of VIPER COMCAM strive to provide high quality, relevant, and timely Visual Information products of simulated combat exercises and other events occurring at JMRC. VIPERS represent the largest deployable Combat Camera unit in Europe most recently supporting JMRC’s elite 1-4 Infantry Battalion as it deployed to Afghanistan as a part of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) contingent of Operation Enduring Freedom. In addition, VIPERS consistently deploy VI COMCAM assets throughout Europe to include Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy, Poland, and wherever the JMRC footprint takes shape.
