i'm a journalist, more and more becoming a photographer as well. my interest in journalism especially goes to social issues and... suprise, suprise, the photographer in me is attracted to those same issues.

Photography classes were part of my studies graphic design and journalism. I followed courses at the Fotoschool Rotterdam, daughter of the Fotoacademie and now I am a bachelor student Photography at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. Still I mainly became a photographer by taking my camera everywhere I go.

I love to make expressive portraits and both street and documentary photography. These photos show my background as a journalist. Also the graphic designer speaks through my work and leaves traces in my photography.
