Highland lass who likes to collect vintage postcards, buttons, vinyl records, wool & maps. Never without a good book, knitting needles & trusty camera in hand (or backpack).

Highland lass who daydreams of living amongst the Scottish mountains in a cabin filled with vintage finds & her classic motor out on the drive. Just recently completed a Zoology degree at St. Andrews University and building up a freelance writing & photography portfolio.

I especially enjoy taking photographs of the Scottish Highland scenery, the natural world, my Standard 8 and classic cars in general. I capture what I can with my ever-present digital Panasonic DMC-FZ7.

Currently I'm experimenting with about four different film cameras, including a Zorki 4 and a panoramic point & shoot, and I'm getting some nice results. I love the softness and gorgeous colours of film photos and find lots of inspiration from others using film here on Flickr. Hoping to upload some film shots of my own soon.

Many of my Flickr sets are of photographs which accompany a column that I write for the Standard Motor Club.

My column is called 'Henry & I' and this is a series of articles which document my ownership of & adventures with my 1957 Standard 8. The column articles can be accessed via the Articles section of the Standard Motor Club website.

In recent months I have begun to form the Scottish Standard Group. So far we have 35 enthusiastic members and I am Group Organiser for the Scottish Standard Group. All Standard owners & enthusiasts are welcome to join.
