I am an amateur photographer based in Italy. I am differently young :)

I make photos especially during my journeys and I do also a lot of HD videos, also at events like concerts.

I love photo from when I was a teen and I started with a Werra II film compact (no exposure meter, no focus aids, but with a Zeiss lens). Then I used for many years a Pentax ME Super, my first film reflex, that had small size and powerful features. In 1999 I gave a try to digital, with a 640x480 pixels compact, followed by the Pentax EI-200 (2 MP). At that point, I almost abandoned the film, a switch completed a couple years later with the Pentax K100D (6 MP), my first digital reflex.

Later on I switched to my current digital reflex, the Pentax K5ii (16 MP). I think it's a pity that Ricoh/Pentax has not yet developed a mirrorless full frame body.

I also used some digital compact cameras, especially while traveling, like the Nikon S6300 (it lasted only a few months, really a fragile camera...) and also a GoPro Hero 6 White (lost in Norway...) and the current GoPro Hero 9 Black.

Recently I gave a try to some of my old Pentax manual lenses (50 mm f/1.8 and 28 mm f/2.8) on the K5II and results were wonderful. These old lenses are awesome!
