J’ai toujours aimé la photographie. Mon premier reflex était un Canon AE1-P. A cette époque je l’utilisais essentiellement pendant les vacances ou les réunions de familles. Le vrai déclic a été avec mon premier numérique, en 2005, encore un Canon, S1 IS. Je pouvais enfin prendre autant de photos que je le voulais et les voir immédiatement. J’ai découvert Flickr un an plus tard, en 2006. Je trouvais ca génial, pouvoir exposer ces photos au monde entier et surtout voir et apprendre des autres. Il y a des groupes sur quasiment tout . Un ami m’a initié à la photo 3D, les anaglyphes qui nécessitent des lunettes rouge-cyan, je ne pensais pas que c’était si facile à faire et le résultat est étonnant. Le prix des reflex numériques devenant abordable j’ai acheté un Canon Rebel XSi en 2008, je l’emporte avec moi a n’importe qu’elle occasion, j’essaye de restituer mon environnement et faire partager la beauté du Québec a travers les saisons, surtout qu’ici elles sont très marquées.

I consider myself as hobbyist. I started in 1981 with a Canon AE1-Program¸ and 35-80, 85-205 mm lens, and it is still working. At this time I took pictures most of the time during the holidays and vacations. I bought my first digital camera in 2005 (Canon Powershot S1 IS) and it changed the way I take pictures. It so easy and funny that now I bring my camera with me all the time. I try to catch every special moment I see. I found Flickr 5 years ago and I must admit that now I am addicted. It’s a great community and a fantastic place to learn. You are certain to find at least one group that shares what you like, there are thousands of them. Finally, as D-SLR are becoming more affordable, I bought a Canon Rebel XSI in march 2008.
