Photography is my "visual" journal. I've never been good at keeping a written journal and I have a horrible memory :-) I know that most of the things that I've seen and experienced in my life would have slowly faded from my memory had it not been for my visual journal.

I'm a 26 year-old musician/amateur photographer who started taking pictures about 5 years ago. I still have a lot to learn, but I love photography and I'm always trying to learn more. My photostream is totally random. Hopefully the collections/sets will help to put some order to everything. Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

Interesting tid-bit about me: I'm 1/4 German - 1/4 Scottish - 1/8 African - 1/8 Irish - 1/8 Potawatomi Indian - 1/8 Spanish. My friend calls me a "Walking U.N." :-) I like to call myself "MIX-ican" ;-)

I am the first to give a testimonial about Sammy-Chris--my name for him. What can I say to be accurate in his work, his feelings about his work and life? Strong, clear, artistic, real and perhaps the word professional fits as well. He comes across with first looking at something, someone, and then takes the lens and shoots from an advantage point that will allow us to see the textures, colors, feelings that we wouldn't otherwise get to. I always walk away from his stream, gallery, with an eye more open to parts of the world I wouldn't normally get to see or feel. Whether in this country or out, I get to see what Chris does. Yes, his work is worth viewing. And re-viewing time and time again.
