Some people call us a “Renaissance Agency,” but whether we’re directing a film, hammering out social media strategy or creating a web application in HTML5 and JSON, we just like to do good work. The name, VILIV comes from the combination of the words “vie” and “live”. To vie means to strive for victory or superiority, and our favorite definition of live is derived from its Greek origin where it meant to persist and persevere. The combination of these two words yields our mission statement: striving for (creative) superiority through perseverance and persistence. We are forward-thinking; and the consistent evolution of our services and the discipline to continue to deliver the very best to each one of our clients is the foundation of VILIV Studios.

Our Story

Zach Self and Tommy Oliver began collaborating in 2007. With Zach’s prolific development and design background, paired with Tommy’s keen sense of business and proven expertise in film, the decision to combine their energy, enthusiasm and over 30 years of combined professional experience to open VILIV Studios was a no-brainer.
