I have the last on the very good opinion of several friends. (I'm Modest too).

My very first camera was a 110 point-and-shoot. I won it in a costume contest at an early age and it actually took very decent pictures until it met its demise on the hard cold floor of the Montreal subway system. The next camera was a gift from Mum and Dad, a very nice Konica SLR, second hand, but a solid metal body. I take nice snap-shots with it. It was the lack of practice and fear of paying for failed films that kept me from really trying. I was given my first digital three years ago, an HP Photosmart M22. I have been warming up to photography since then, but am still at the snapshot level. I also have an hp photosmart 935 that is nice. I now want more out of my pictures. I am not sure, other than taking lots and lots, of how to improve. I really really like that I can have a super large number of pictures to take and can experiment now. I do realise that digital is different from film, but it is alot more fun now that I can just delete the ones that do not work out.

Hee hee! My next camera is now Nikon D70s, second hands from a friend for a good price!! This should be fun.
