I am passionate about cats, architecture and ornamental detail, arts & crafts, design, roses, plants, trees, gardens, stained glass, Victoriana & Edwardiana, nature conservation, animal welfare and animal rights and a number of other things - in no particular order! I collect far too many things: old tins; lovely antique frames, old hyacinth vases, old copper moulds; vesta boxes; interesting items of cutlery; cat figurines; unconsidered trifels, and many other items. My interests include embroidery, reading, writing, listening to music, gardening and visiting the kind of places where old stuff is sold. I have a degree in Philosophy (Sussex University) which I have never done anything with. I am very analytical, and I tend to really annoy people by pointing out the fallacy of their reasoning. I do not like the modern world, but it's what we are stuck with, and it has got to be made to work, somehow.
