I'm a 60+ living in Welwyn Garden City which is about 20 miles north of London.

My main interest is British Roman history and living near to St. Albans (Verulamium) means I can spend time there amongst the Roman ruins and museum.

Work wise I'm a photographer, just stock.and a photo restorer.

Have Asperger's syndrome.

In January 2004 I went down with an incurable and paralysing bone disease which is mainly situated from the neck to the pelvis via the spine, though it does occur in all my joints too.

Now I also have anaemia, angina, asthma, heriditary heart disease, four heart defects, six heart operations, sleep apnea, diabetes, menieres with nystagmus and postular hypotension. The last operation was described by the surgeon as a 'fantastic result' and it was. So I'm making the best use of the limited time left and trying to cram in as many photos as possible.

Photography is a release. It's better to be out doing something creative than sitting at home moronically staring at a screen watching the drivel that passes for modern TV.
