On January 5, 2009, I joined Project 365 to take a picture a day for a year with the hope that it will help me to "see" differently, discover unexpected photo ops, learn more about my camera, stretch my creativity, and have fun in the process.

I've always enjoyed taking pictures...just for fun shots of friends and family and travel, which I love to put into scrapbooks. But, now I'm interested in learning more about photography and experimenting with some new subjects and techniques. I'm frustrated and impatient, but slowly learning!

Hadn't used flickr before, but am really enjoying looking at others' photos (there's some amazing work here!).
