I started taking photographs using a compact camera but found it too restrictive. I upgraded from the digital compact to a Nikon D40 SLR in June 2008 and then again to the D90 in December 2008. In May 2013 I upgraded again to a D700.
Since the first DSLR purchase my love of photography has grown and I completed the T189 course with the Open University between October and December 2008 and think I have improved since then!!
I was the President of Darwin Camera Club in the Northern Territory of Australia until relocating to Brisbane in June 2017 which was really motivating to get the camera out and take photos.
