I'm a photography enthusiast with no formal training or artistic ability - I just love taking photos and always have my camera with me!

Most of the photos I take are from special trips or events, but I have an interest in the day-to-day and try to snap interesting buildings or scenes whenever possible. I live in Kent, work in London and love to travel across the UK and abroad, so my subjects are particularly varied. Work has been extremely busy of late so my most recent uploads are examples of special trips or events, with the day-to-day becoming somewhat less frequent.

Last summer I took some photography lessons with Tony Hall and am exploring different photographic styles and starting to think about ways to improve the quality of the photos I take. My technical knowledge is improving, and my artistic eye is now a little more developed, but I still don't know much about editing (I have Photoshop Elements at home, Photoshop 8.0 at work and Picnick via Flickr). I am looking to advance these skills and would welcome any tips.
