I woke up to art in a big way in 2010. I have always loved art, but not picked up a paintbrush with serious intent for many years.

Now I can't seem to stop. I love colour, so many of my pieces are experimenting with combinations.

I want to imitate and interpret something of the beauty of creation.

I love Flickr and being able to see other artists' work, and share comments.

I am particularly grateful to Julia Kay's Portrait Party for keeping me painting new portraits, and for the wonderful artists I have encountered there.
