I'm not a photographer, but I sometimes take photographs. I am, though, a pretty fair artist and illustrator, who has found a new canvas in photographs, whether enhancing an image, restoring a badly damaged vintage snapshot, or creating a full "painting" on the photo.

Although I'm still exploring this new medium, I'm happy enough with my work, so far, to share some of it on Flickr. After all, I feel that art isn't art if it falls in the forest and there's no one there to hear it. (Ahem.....You know what I mean.)

Beyond that, I once enjoyed buying and selling collector automobiles. I'm out of the hobby, now, but still car crazy.

I also like to collect and restore certain vintage toys, hand-paint the faces of dolls or action figures, and I've collected a number of models that I've promised myself I will someday build.

I think the only other thing I need to tell you about myself is, I have a small framed plaque hung on the wall, overlooking the place where I do most of my work. It reads, "No one in my family ever suffered from insanity- we always kind-of enjoyed it."
