Since I have been a young boy I love to take photos. I started in my school days in the 60s and 70s with my father’s cameras (eg Voigtländer Brillant 6x6, Zeiss Ikon S312, Minolta SRT-303), then continued with my own equipment (Canon AE1, A1, EOS 100, Leica Z2x).

After many years and thousands of photos other interests came in the foreground. Photographing became limited to vacation photos and lots of "deja vu" images.

Since 2000 I have been photographing digitally, first with digital rangefinder cameras, from 2004 with several Nikon DSLR cameras (from D70 to D300s), since 2011 almost with μFT (Olympus PEN's and OM-D's). Actually I also collected a vintage Nikon FE2 with some nice lenses as well as a Nikon D700 full frame camera.

With digital photography I found my old hobby again. It has become a "fine arts" balance to my work as a manager in the rational IT industry.

The world is full of images and photo subjects - I still regret how much of them I do NOT perceive.
