First camera was a Box Brownie in 1954 then Kodak folding. Used 2.25" square and 35mm film format before changing to digital. Used to do own processing and had much fun with enlargers - a long time ago. First digital camera was a Sony 3mp. Then 6mp. Moved to Nikon with multiple lenses. Sold all that and bought an HS20 EXR - shortly before Fuji issued the HS30. In December 2011 I was able to shoot Ladybirds taking some rays in the afternoon and in the night, the Moon - no lens changes, I liked that a lot.

Update 1/09.2012 Now bought HS30 - it is better. Sold the HS20

Sold the SX30 and bought SX50. Not tempted by the SX60 but would be by the Nikon P900 when RAW handling is added.

Update 29/03.2018: Sold the SX50, bought Nikon D3100, then went to D3200. Good but missed the versatility of the Canon

so went back to SX50. Next change was to Olympus OM-D10, a lovely camera but still too limited. Decided to buy SX60 and found that I don't agree

with reviewers who said the image quality is inferior to that of the SX50 but then I always use RAW and process in DXO program. Still have that but now also an EOS 5D Mark 2. Huge leap in IQ. Also tried SX70 HS - best of the SX series - then FZ1000, FZ2000, Samsung NX500(Super but not enough lenses), Nikon D3100, D3200, D750 (That was a lucky buy - won a bid on a D7500 and it turned out that the seller had made an error in the listing. Great camera but so many lenses. Changed to Sony RX10 iii.

Now Sony RX10 iv - maybe my final camera.

Happy with it for two years but now could not resist the Canon 90D. February 2023.
