I moved into Helsinki almost two years ago after I graduated from university. Had to buy my first DSLR after the probation period in my work was over. I started to photograph interesting places in Helsinki, apparently mostly after sunset.

I have licensed most of my images under creative commons license. I have no specific reason for this but have considered the following: I intend to eliminate even the slightest possible economic gain from my photography, err, shots in order to keep this as a nice hobby. My studies and livelihood have been very much dependent on open source software and information, so this is my way of giving back as I currently cannot participate to any open source project.
