I am a retiree after a 35 year career as banker and banking software consultant in Vienna.

My hobbies are photography, image processing, reading and more :-) I have my own homepage, where I present my collection of vintage mechanical toys and vintage teddy bears.

Whenever I have time I visit the Zoo Vienna (Tiergarten Schönbrunn). I love to watch and photograph the animals there. My favourite motif is the pair of Giant Pandas Yang Yang and Long Hui who joined the Zoo Vienna in 2003. Yang Yang gave birth to four male cubs and one female since then: Fu Long, Fu Hu, Fu Bao, Fu Feng and Fu Ban (2007, 2010, 2013, 2016). Unfortunately, Long Hui passed away by the end of 2016, but his photos will always remind us of him.
