Known to all my friends as Venky. Have been a writer and technology journalist for many years. Most of my friends are artists and photographers and technologists. Photography allows me to combine my love for technology and art.

 

My friend, Aijaz Ahmad ancouraged me to take up photography after seeing my photos from the Valley of Flowers. I am an instinctive photographer, unlike many of my friends who are very methodical. I hope that I can combine the quicksilver reflexes of a good photojournalist with the painterly vision of my artist friends.

 

I will be happy to read your tips, advice and suggestions. To me, one of the best things about being on Flickr is that I can learn from like-minded photography lovers like you. Whether you like a photo or hate it, I'll be happy to hear your opinions in the unending quest for perfection.
